Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
The short version: The Site is free, and you don’t create an account. Your practice progress stays on your device. We use analytics and advertising tools, which may collect information about how you use the Site. You can opt out, as explained in section 7.
1. Who we are
uscitizenshiptest-practice.com (the “Site”) is operated by TGM, Athens, Greece. Contact: the contact page. We are not affiliated with USCIS or any government agency. The Site is intended for people in the United States.
2. Progress stored on your device
Your chosen test, state, mock-test answers, flashcard marks and bookmarks are saved in your browser’s local storage. We can’t see this information, and it never reaches our servers. Clearing your browser’s site data deletes it.
3. Contact form
If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you type. We use them only to read and reply to your message. Please don’t send passport numbers, A-numbers, case documents or other sensitive immigration information through the form. Analytics and advertising tools are not applied to what you type in the form.
4. Hosting and server logs
Our host, Netlify, processes standard technical data, such as IP address, browser and device type, and pages requested, for security and reliability. Logs are kept for up to 7 days.
5. Analytics and site improvement tools
We use Google Tag Manager to load these tools:
- Google Analytics 4 and Matomo measure which pages are visited, how long people stay, and where visitors come from.
- Hotjar and Microsoft Clarity create heatmaps and session recordings that show how people click and scroll. Text you type into forms is masked and not recorded.
These tools may collect your IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, pages viewed, and interactions with the Site, using cookies and similar technologies.
6. Advertising and measurement
We may show ads and measure their performance using Google AdSense and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. These providers may use cookies and identifiers to show and measure ads, including personalized ads based on your activity across websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
7. Your privacy choices and opt-outs
- Use the contact page to opt out of analytics, personalized advertising, and any sale or sharing of personal information.
- We treat browser-based opt-out signals, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), as an opt-out request.
- You can also manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, opt out of interest-based ads at optout.aboutads.info or optout.networkadvertising.org, or block cookies in your browser. Parts of the Site may work less well if you do.

9. Sharing, selling and sale/sharing for advertising
We don’t sell your personal information for money. However, the advertising tools in section 6 may collect and use information about your browsing in ways that state privacy laws call “selling” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time as described in section 7. We otherwise share information only with service providers that help us run the Site, when required by law, or to protect our rights and security. We don’t knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
10. Categories of information
In the past 12 months, the Site may have collected: identifiers (IP address, cookie IDs, and name and email if you use the contact form); internet and device activity (pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, browser and device type); and approximate location. We use it to operate and improve the Site, answer messages, measure ads and show ads. We don’t collect sensitive personal information, such as government ID numbers, on purpose.
11. How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept as long as needed to answer you and keep a record, then deleted. Other data is kept for the periods set by each provider, for example server logs up to 7 days, analytics data up to 14 months, and advertising cookies up to 13 months. Progress data stays on your device until you delete it.
12. Your rights
Depending on your state, such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia and others, you may have the right to know what we collect, to access, correct or delete your personal information, to opt out of its sale, sharing and targeted advertising, and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. To make a request, use the contact page. We may need to verify your request.
13. Do Not Track
Browsers’ “Do Not Track” settings don’t have a uniform standard, so we don’t respond to them, but we do honor Global Privacy Control as explained above.
14. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
15. Visitors outside the United States
If you use the Site from another country, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.
16. Links to other sites
Links to uscis.gov, house.gov, senate.gov, usa.gov and others leave the Site. They have their own privacy notices.
